About Longevity Lab

Precision Medicine for Better Aging

The Longevity Lab was created to bring world-class precision medicine to Queenstown, a place where people value performance, wellbeing, and living fully.

Most healthcare reacts after something goes wrong.
Most fitness programs guess.
Most lab tests end without explanation.

We built the Longevity Lab to fix that.

Our mission is simple:
to give people clear, measurable insight into their health and the tools to improve it-through data, advanced testing, and physician-led guidance.

Using fitness metrics (VO₂ max and DEXA), wearable data, metabolic labs, biological age testing, and continuous tracking, we create a complete picture of your health and longevity trajectory.

Instead of generic advice, you get a personalized plan that evolves with your data-helping you improve your energy, strength, resilience, and long-term healthspan.

Longevity shouldn’t be confusing.

Your body is measurable - and so is your progress.

The Longevity Lab exists to give you clarity, direction, and a system to help you live younger for longer.

MEET THE FOUNDER & physician

Dr Danny McGee

American Board of Family Medicine

Dr. Danny McGee is a U.S.–trained, board-certified physician with advanced longevity and integrative medicine training and 20 years of clinical experience. He specializes in integrative metabolic and preventative health, and personalized longevity planning. Known for his warm, approachable style, he helps clients turn their data into a clear plan for living longer and stronger.

My journey into longevity medicine began long before I knew the word for it. I trained as a board-certified Family Medicine physician in the United States, where I learned to diagnose, treat, and support patients across every stage of life. But I quickly realized that most healthcare was reactive — waiting for problems instead of preventing them — and I wanted to practice a deeper, more proactive kind of medicine.

That led me to complete advanced training with the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, where I learned to blend evidence-based medicine with nutrition, stress physiology, lifestyle science, and mind-body health. My work at Canyon Ranch strengthened this approach even further, showing me what was possible when you combine medical expertise with advanced testing, performance metrics, and personalized lifestyle programs. It gave me a blueprint for truly comprehensive, precision-focused care.

When my wife and I decided to move our family to New Zealand, we chose Queenstown for its community, natural beauty, and way a life — a place where people value movement, health, purpose, and time with family. It felt like the ideal environment to raise our children and build a practice aligned with our values.

The Longevity Lab grew out of that vision. I created it to offer something that didn’t exist here — a place where people can understand their health through real data, advanced labs, biological age testing, and continuous monitoring, all interpreted through the lens of a physician who takes time to listen and guide. My mission is simple: to help people feel stronger, live longer, and approach their future with clarity and confidence.

Longevity isn’t about chasing youth — it’s about building a life with more energy, better function, and more years doing the things (and being with the people) that matter most. That belief is what brought me into this work, and it’s what continues to guide everything I do at the Longevity Lab.
